Fees & Financing
LASIK and PRK are $1,495 per eye (Canadian Funds). The fee, paid to the Horizon Laser Vision Center on the day of surgery, covers all the pre- and post-operative examinations with your optometrist, ophthalmologist and the Center, but it does not include the initial consultation with your optometrist. This fee covers you for 12 months following the procedure and for any enhancement procedure you may require within the first two years.

We accept payment by cash, debit card, certified cheque/bank draft, VISA, or MasterCard. Patients traveling from the U.S. or other countries must ensure payment is in Canadian funds or by credit card. When paying by bank draft or cash, please bring the exact amount, as we do not carry cash to make change. If you are paying by debit card, please be advised that you will likely have a daily limit and may require pre-authorization. Please make the necessary arrangement with your bank well in advance.
For your convenience, Horizon has established a relationship with two institutions for obtaining financing: Medicard® and the Royal Bank of Canada. If you choose one of these options, please ensure that these arrangements are in place prior to the day of your surgery. You can expect the approval process to take at least 48 hours.

The Royal Bank offers attractive repayment options over 12 or 24 months, using Royal Bank Visa, Royal Credit Line, or Variable Rate Personal Loan. Use the Bank's on-line payment calculator to help you determine if this is a suitable option for you.
